Analytical Balance Calibration Service in Bangladesh
ION Engineering calibrates analytical and precision laboratory balances against certified reference weights traceable to national standards, accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
What We Calibrate
Analytical Balances
0.1mg and 0.01mg readability laboratory balances.
Precision Balances
Higher-capacity precision balances used in QC and formulation.
Micro & Semi-Micro Balances
High-precision balances used for trace-level laboratory work.
How We Calibrate an Analytical Balance
The balance is tested with certified reference weights across its capacity, including linearity, repeatability and eccentricity (corner-load) checks appropriate to its readability, with as-found and as-left readings recorded at each point — the level of rigor a laboratory balance actually needs, beyond a simple single-point check.
What’s included
- Multi-point calibration with linearity and repeatability checks
- As-found and as-left readings, per point
- Stated measurement uncertainty
- QR-verifiable certificate
Analytical Balance Calibration FAQs
How often should an analytical balance be calibrated?
Annually is standard, with an internal check using a reference weight recommended between calibrations for balances used daily in critical QC work.
Do you check eccentricity as well as accuracy?
Yes, corner-load (eccentricity) testing is included where relevant to the balance’s readability and use.
What measurement uncertainty do you report?
Uncertainty is stated per range on your certificate; our full accredited scope is published on our calibration capabilities page.
Is the certificate independently verifiable?
Yes, every certificate number can be checked using our online verification tool, with no login required.
