Calibration Services

Accredited Calibration Services in Bangladesh — On-Site, In-Lab and Managed

Keep every instrument accurate, traceable and audit-ready. ION Engineering calibrates pressure, temperature, dimension, mass, electro-technical and analytical instruments under ISO/IEC 17025:2017, with on-site coverage in Chittagong and Sylhet alongside Dhaka.

Service Models

Four Ways to Work With Our Laboratory

Choose the delivery model that fits your production schedule and your compliance calendar.

01

In-Lab Calibration

Performed in our controlled metrology laboratory using primary and secondary reference standards. Collection and safe return included.

02

On-Site Calibration

Our engineers calibrate at your plant — ideal for fixed, heavy or production-critical instruments. Night and shutdown scheduling available.

03

In-Process Calibration

Calibration built into your operating workflow, verifying instruments under real process conditions rather than on a bench.

04

Managed Services

We own your entire calibration calendar: asset register, intervals, scheduling, execution, records and audit support.

Why Calibrate

Three Reasons Every Auditor Accepts

  • To ensure readings from an instrument are consistent with other measurements.
  • To determine the accuracy of the instrument readings.
  • To establish the reliability of the instrument — that it can be trusted.

Beyond compliance, calibration protects margin: an out-of-tolerance filling scale, thermometer or pressure gauge quietly costs product, energy and rework long before it triggers an audit finding.

Every certificate includes

  • Accredited method and traceable reference standard
  • Measurement uncertainty and a clear pass / fail statement
  • As-found and as-left data where adjustment was needed
  • Calibration sticker with the next due date
  • QR code for instant online verification

Process

How We Work

Step 01

Enquiry

Send your instrument list or scope. We return a written quotation, method and schedule — usually within 24 hours.

Step 02

Collection or Site Visit

We collect and return your equipment safely packed, or our engineers calibrate on site so production never stops.

Step 03

Accredited Calibration

Work is performed under ISO/IEC 17025 procedures with traceable reference standards in a controlled environment.

Step 04

Certificate & Reminder

You receive a QR-verifiable certificate, sticker and report — plus a reminder before the next due date.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between on-site and in-lab calibration?

In-lab calibration is performed in our environmentally controlled metrology laboratory and suits portable instruments and the highest accuracy work. On-site calibration is performed at your plant so fixed, heavy or production-critical instruments are never removed from the line.

How often should instruments be calibrated?

Most industrial instruments are calibrated annually, but the correct interval depends on usage, stability, criticality and regulatory requirement. We review your history and recommend an interval free of charge.

Do you provide calibration stickers and reminders?

Yes. Every calibrated instrument receives a calibration label with the next due date, and we notify you before certificates expire so nothing lapses before an audit.

Are your certificates accepted by auditors and buyers?

Yes. Certificates are issued under our ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation with traceable standards and stated uncertainty, and are accepted in GMP, DGDA, buyer and social compliance audits.
