Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I find the certificate number?
The certificate number is printed in the header block of every ION calibration certificate, next to the issue date. It is also encoded in the QR code at the bottom of the document.
Do I need an account to verify a certificate?
No. Verification is open to anyone holding the certificate or its QR code. There is no login, no registration and no charge.
How long are certificates kept in the system?
All certificates are stored in a secure database and remain retrievable for four years from the date of issue.
The certificate number is not found. What should I do?
Check for typing errors first, especially the letter O against the digit 0. If it still fails, email a photo or scan of the certificate to sales@ionbd.com and our quality team will confirm its status the same working day.
Can I download the original certificate again?
Yes. Once verified you can download the original PDF from the portal, so a lost certificate never means a repeat calibration.
Is a verified certificate accepted by auditors?
Yes. Certificates are issued under our ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation with traceable standards and stated measurement uncertainty, and online verification gives your auditor independent confirmation that the document is genuine and unaltered.
