Dial Gauge (Dial Indicator) Calibration in Bangladesh
ION Engineering calibrates dial indicators and dial test indicators against a certified micrometer head or gauge block stack, accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
What We Calibrate
Plunger-Type Dial Gauges
Standard dial indicators used for runout and thickness checks.
Dial Test Indicators
Lever-type dial test indicators used in setup and alignment work.
Bore Gauges
Dial-indicator bore gauges used for internal diameter checks.
How We Calibrate a Dial Gauge
The gauge is driven through known displacement steps using a certified micrometer head or gauge block stack, with readings recorded at multiple points across its full travel, plus a check for hysteresis and repeatability — because a dial gauge is trusted for very small movements, where these two properties matter as much as the raw reading.
What’s included
- Multi-point calibration across the full travel range
- Hysteresis and repeatability checks
- Stated measurement uncertainty
- QR-verifiable certificate
Dial Gauge (Dial Indicator) Calibration FAQs
How often should a dial gauge be calibrated?
Annually is standard for general use, more frequently for gauges used in precision alignment or QC inspection work.
Do you calibrate bore gauges too?
Yes, dial-indicator bore gauges are calibrated using a certified ring gauge or setting master appropriate to the diameter range.
What measurement uncertainty do you report?
Uncertainty is stated on your certificate; our full accredited scope is published on our calibration capabilities page.
Is the certificate independently verifiable?
Yes, every certificate number can be checked using our online verification tool, with no login required.
