Electrical Calibrator (Process Calibrator) Calibration in Bangladesh
ION Engineering calibrates multi-function process and electrical calibrators — the reference instruments technicians use to source and measure voltage, current and resistance — against traceable standards, accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
What We Calibrate
Multi-Function Process Calibrators
Source and measure calibrators used to check other instruments.
Loop Calibrators
4–20mA loop calibrators used for transmitter checks.
Signal Generators
Voltage, current and frequency signal-source calibrators.
How We Calibrate a Process Calibrator
Because a process calibrator is itself used to check other instruments, its own accuracy is verified against a higher-level traceable reference standard, both in source mode and in measure mode, across the functions and ranges you actually use, with as-found and as-left data recorded.
What’s included
- Source and measure mode verification
- As-found and as-left readings, per function
- Stated measurement uncertainty
- QR-verifiable certificate
Electrical Calibrator (Process Calibrator) Calibration FAQs
Why does the calibrator itself need calibrating?
A process calibrator’s accuracy underwrites every instrument it is used to check in the field — if it drifts, every downstream calibration it performed is called into question.
Do you check both source and measure functions?
Yes, both directions are tested, since a calibrator can drift differently when sourcing a signal versus measuring one.
What measurement uncertainty do you report?
Uncertainty is stated per function and range on your certificate; our full accredited scope is published on our calibration capabilities page.
Is the certificate independently verifiable?
Yes, every certificate number can be checked using our online verification tool, with no login required.
