Load Cell Calibration in Bangladesh
ION Engineering calibrates load cells used in weighbridges, tension testing machines and process weighing systems against certified reference standards, accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
What We Calibrate
Compression Load Cells
Load cells used in weighbridges and platform scales.
Tension Load Cells
Load cells used in crane and lifting-gear test rigs.
Process Load Cells
Load cells integrated into tanks, hoppers and process vessels.
How We Calibrate a Load Cell
The load cell is loaded with certified reference weights or a calibrated force-proving system at multiple points across its rated capacity, with as-found and as-left output recorded — confirming the cell’s actual output curve, since a load cell’s electrical output, not just its mechanical condition, is what downstream instruments rely on.
What’s included
- Multi-point calibration across the rated capacity
- As-found and as-left output readings
- Stated measurement uncertainty
- QR-verifiable certificate
Load Cell Calibration FAQs
Can a load cell be calibrated while installed in a weighbridge?
Yes, in-situ calibration is standard for weighbridge and process load cells using certified test weights or a substitution method.
Do you calibrate load cells used in crane test rigs?
Yes, tension load cells used for lifting-gear proof load testing are calibrated as part of our DIFE load testing service equipment programme.
What measurement uncertainty do you report?
Uncertainty is stated per range on your certificate; our full accredited scope is published on our calibration capabilities page.
Is the certificate independently verifiable?
Yes, every certificate number can be checked using our online verification tool, with no login required.
