Pipette Calibration Service in Bangladesh
ION Engineering calibrates single-channel and multi-channel pipettes to the ISO 8655 gravimetric method, accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017, for QC and clinical laboratories.
What We Calibrate
Single-Channel Pipettes
Air-displacement and positive-displacement pipettes across fixed and variable volumes.
Multi-Channel Pipettes
8 and 12-channel pipettes used in high-throughput laboratory work.
Bottle-Top Dispensers
Bottle-top dispensers and repeater pipettes used in reagent preparation.
How We Calibrate a Pipette
Each pipette is tested using the ISO 8655 gravimetric method — dispensing distilled water onto a calibrated analytical balance under controlled conditions and weighing the result — at multiple volumes across its range, with as-found and as-left data recorded. Read more on the method in our article on pipette calibration and common mistakes.
What’s included
- ISO 8655 gravimetric method, multiple volumes per pipette
- As-found and as-left readings, per point
- Stated measurement uncertainty
- QR-verifiable certificate
Pipette Calibration FAQs
How often should pipettes be calibrated?
Every three to six months for pipettes in daily laboratory use is common practice, with the exact interval set by your quality programme or accreditation requirements.
Can you calibrate multi-channel pipettes on all channels?
Yes, every channel is tested individually, since channels can drift independently of one another.
What measurement uncertainty do you report?
Uncertainty is stated per volume on your certificate; our full accredited scope is published on our calibration capabilities page.
Is the certificate independently verifiable?
Yes, every certificate number can be checked using our online verification tool, with no login required.
