Platform Scale Calibration in Bangladesh
ION Engineering calibrates floor and platform scales on-site using certified reference weights, accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017, for warehouses, production floors and loading bays.
What We Calibrate
Floor Scales
Low-profile floor scales used for pallet and drum weighing.
Platform Scales
Standard platform scales used in production and warehousing.
Bench Platform Scales
Larger bench-mounted platform scales.
How We Calibrate a Platform Scale
The scale is loaded with certified reference weights at multiple points across its capacity, with a linearity check and, where the platform size allows, an off-centre (corner) loading check, and as-found/as-left readings recorded — the same standard applied whether the scale weighs pallets, drums or production output.
What’s included
- Multi-point calibration across the scale’s capacity
- Linearity and corner-loading checks
- Stated measurement uncertainty
- QR-verifiable certificate
Platform Scale Calibration FAQs
Can a platform scale be calibrated without moving it?
Yes, calibration is carried out on-site with certified reference weights brought to the scale’s location.
How often should a platform scale be calibrated?
Annually is common for most industrial platform scales, more frequently for scales used in trade or billing.
What measurement uncertainty do you report?
Uncertainty is stated per range on your certificate; our full accredited scope is published on our calibration capabilities page.
Is the certificate independently verifiable?
Yes, every certificate number can be checked using our online verification tool, with no login required.
