RTD Calibration Service in Bangladesh
ION Engineering calibrates platinum resistance temperature detectors (RTDs, including Pt100) against a traceable reference probe in a controlled bath or dry-block, accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 with stated measurement uncertainty.
What We Calibrate
Pt100 / Pt1000 RTDs
Two, three and four-wire platinum RTDs across industrial temperature ranges.
RTD Assemblies
Thermowell-mounted RTD assemblies used in process and utility lines.
Multi-Point Probes
Multi-point RTD probes used in tanks, chambers and vessels.
How We Calibrate an RTD
The RTD is immersed alongside a traceable reference probe in a stable liquid bath or dry-block at several temperature points across its working range, with as-found and as-left readings recorded at each point to establish accuracy and detect drift since the last calibration.
What’s included
- Multi-point calibration across your working range
- As-found and as-left readings, per point
- Stated measurement uncertainty
- QR-verifiable certificate
RTD Calibration FAQs
What is the difference between an RTD and a thermocouple?
An RTD measures temperature through a change in electrical resistance in a platinum element and is generally more accurate and stable; a thermocouple generates a small voltage from two dissimilar metals and tolerates higher temperatures. See our thermocouple calibration service as well.
Can an RTD be calibrated while still installed in a thermowell?
Where the installation allows removal for testing, yes; fixed installations that cannot be removed are calibrated on-site using a suitable reference method.
What measurement uncertainty do you report?
Uncertainty is stated per range on your certificate; our full accredited scope is published on our calibration capabilities page.
Is the certificate independently verifiable?
Yes, every certificate number can be checked using our online verification tool, with no login required.
