Temperature Calibration

Thermocouple Calibration Service in Bangladesh

ION Engineering calibrates type J, K, T, N, R and S thermocouples against traceable reference standards, accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017, for process and high-temperature applications.

Scope

What We Calibrate

Type K & J

General-purpose base-metal thermocouples for industrial process use.

Type T & N

Base-metal thermocouples for specific low- and high-range applications.

Type R & S

Noble-metal thermocouples for high-temperature furnace and kiln use.

Thermocouple Assemblies

Thermowell-mounted thermocouple assemblies used in process lines.

Method

How We Calibrate a Thermocouple

The thermocouple is tested alongside a traceable reference sensor in a stable bath, dry-block or furnace at multiple points across its working range, with as-found and as-left readings recorded at each point — the standard basis for detecting drift in a sensor that degrades with use.

What’s included

  • Multi-point calibration across your working range
  • As-found and as-left readings, per point
  • Stated measurement uncertainty
  • QR-verifiable certificate

Questions

Thermocouple Calibration FAQs

How often do thermocouples need recalibration?

Thermocouples drift with use and thermal cycling, so annual calibration is common, with more frequent checks for high-temperature or high-use applications.

Can you calibrate high-temperature furnace thermocouples?

Yes, type R and S noble-metal thermocouples used in furnaces and kilns are calibrated at the appropriate high-temperature reference points.

What measurement uncertainty do you report?

Uncertainty is stated per range on your certificate; our full accredited scope is published on our calibration capabilities page.

Is the certificate independently verifiable?

Yes, every certificate number can be checked using our online verification tool, with no login required.
