UV-Vis Spectrophotometer Calibration in Bangladesh
ION Engineering calibrates UV-Vis spectrophotometers for wavelength accuracy and photometric performance using certified reference filters and standards, accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
What We Calibrate
Wavelength Accuracy
Verification against certified wavelength reference filters.
Photometric Accuracy
Absorbance verification using certified neutral-density filters.
Stray Light & Resolution
Additional performance checks where required by your protocol.
How We Calibrate a Spectrophotometer
Certified reference filters are measured across the instrument’s working wavelength range to verify both wavelength accuracy and photometric (absorbance) accuracy, with as-found and as-left data recorded — the two properties that determine whether a spectrophotometric result is trustworthy.
What’s included
- Wavelength accuracy verification
- Photometric accuracy verification
- Stated measurement uncertainty
- QR-verifiable certificate
UV-Vis Spectrophotometer Calibration FAQs
How often should a spectrophotometer be calibrated?
Annually is standard for laboratory instruments, with more frequent internal checks using certified filters between full calibrations, per your quality programme.
Do you calibrate both wavelength and absorbance accuracy?
Yes, both are checked and reported, since a spectrophotometer can be accurate on one and drift on the other.
What measurement uncertainty do you report?
Uncertainty is stated on your certificate; our full accredited scope is published on our calibration capabilities page.
Is the certificate independently verifiable?
Yes, every certificate number can be checked using our online verification tool, with no login required.
