Vernier Caliper Calibration in Bangladesh
ION Engineering calibrates vernier, dial and digital calipers against certified gauge blocks and reference standards, accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
What We Calibrate
Vernier Calipers
Traditional scale-and-vernier calipers across their measuring range.
Digital Calipers
Electronic digital-readout calipers.
Dial Calipers
Dial-indicator type calipers used in workshops.
How We Calibrate a Caliper
The caliper is checked for external, internal and depth measurement accuracy at multiple points across its range using certified gauge blocks, with as-found and as-left readings recorded — and jaw flatness and parallelism checked, since a caliper can read a gauge block correctly yet still be out of true on an irregular part.
What’s included
- Multi-point calibration using certified gauge blocks
- As-found and as-left readings, per point
- Stated measurement uncertainty
- QR-verifiable certificate
Vernier Caliper Calibration FAQs
How often should a caliper be calibrated?
Annually for calipers in general workshop use, more frequently for calipers used in tight-tolerance QC inspection.
Do you calibrate internal and depth measurement functions too?
Yes, external, internal and depth measurement are all checked, not just the external jaws.
What measurement uncertainty do you report?
Uncertainty is stated on your certificate; our full accredited scope is published on our calibration capabilities page.
Is the certificate independently verifiable?
Yes, every certificate number can be checked using our online verification tool, with no login required.
